Why I Blog

Why do I take the time out of my week to to write about my experiences as a mother? Here is the short answer:

And the long answer?

I blog to preserve memories. For my family, Barron and any future children we may have. He won't remember these younger years of his life and by writing about different milestones and events, we can look back on them later. I do make photo albums and memory books, but it is very simple to write a few words, post pictures and upload videos online. And I know online they will be in a safe place forever.

I also write to share about being a mother in a Christ centered home. Living a life as a mom who works in high school ministry at CRU, serves Jesus, her husband and now a baby boy. By writing about my life in blog form, I have also been able to find community with other moms. We can share experiences, pray for our families, watch each others children grow and learn from each others triumphs and mistakes.
